• In 2020, the firm filed multiple class action lawsuits in Kansas federal court against seven national and regional banks for overcharging foreclosed homeowners who “redeemed” their properties. The lawsuits alleged that the redeeming homeowners were charged for a full year’s worth of hazard insurance on the properties, even though only a few months of insurance were typically needed.

• In 2018 and 2020, the firm filed class action lawsuits in New York and California federal court against L’Oréal USA, Inc. The lawsuits were filed on behalf of consumers who bought one or more of four liquid cosmetic products manufactured and distributed by L’Oréal and Maybelline (a L’Oréal subsidiary). The products are used by millions of consumers across the country.
